Playas Escondidas

Boardwalks

Land Plan

Hidden Beaches of Nosara (HBON) has obtained approval for the construction of three boardwalks that will provide private access to incredible mangrove forests and the secluded beach of Playa Nosara.  This private access will be exclusively for the residents and guests of HBON and MINAET officials.  MINAET and HBON have reached an agreement that will allow the officers of MINAET to utilize the boardwalks to patrol the beaches of Playa Nosara to help protect the turtles and their eggs from poaching.  Under this partnership with MINAET, HBON has agreed to provide funding to purchase transportation (a quad) and to support the modest salary of a dedicated MINAET officer who will be stationed at HBON year round once the boardwalk construction is complete.  Below you will find the technical drawings of the three approved boardwalks.
